Bionetics:  its science, philosophy and history

Bionetics is an effective, safe, gentle and scientific system of healing which assists the natural tendency of the body to heal itself when given the correct tools with which to do so.

It recognises that all symptoms of ill health, are physical expressions of disharmony within the energy system of the whole person, and believes that long term good health can only be achieved and maintained by taking action to harmonise this system.

For thousands of years civilisations throughout the World have recognised that “energy” which flows throughout the body can have an important impact on our health. For instance, the Chinese therapy of acupuncture can positively affect the Chi or energy flow in the body and boost its ability to heal itself. Thousands of studies have confirmed the positive results achieved and the NHS has introduced it to help with back pain.

Virtually all cultures had evolved a far more holistic approach to resolving medical problems, than that common today. Local treatment to alleviate symptoms was combined with action to boost the positive effects of the “energy” or “spirit”. Although they did not know why this strategy worked, they recognised that it could have a very positive effect on people’s health.

The birth of “modern” medicine

The birth of Newtonian physics heralded a change in conventional medical thinking. Newton’s laws related only to physical matter, and ignored the “energy” factor. Opinion of the day backed Newton’s theories and modern medicine as we know it was born.

Therapies that could not easily be explained by reference to Newton became portrayed as ‘quackery’. A practice which the medical profession still undertake today.

In fact, as far back as the late 1800’s Radioesthesia (a version of what we do today) was one of the most popular treatments available in the United States.

Unfortunately helping the body heal itself, was not as profitable as selling pharmaceuticals. The powerful new Pharmaceutical/Newtonian lobby campaigned to have anything that did not comply with their new theories banned.

Fear and ignorance (and the law) forced many reputable practitioners and therapies out of business, and left many people to suffer unnecessary.

This general attitude prevailed until the latter part of the 20th century.

The Rebirth of Energy medicine and bionetics

Fortunately, knowledge of the principles of energy medicine was not lost, and slowly, more and more people have rediscovered and are accepting the power of bionetics as a strong aid in the fight against illness.

Two key factors are prompting people to have this much more enlightened view.

First fact – scientists have now proved that the basic component of the universe is energy, and not physical matter. Quantum physics has replaced the Newtonian belief that the smallest building blocks of all matter are physical objects - protons and neutrons, and proved that spinning energy vortices are actually at the source. Everything is based on energy.

Second fact - scientists have proved that collections of atoms (molecules) all radiate their own energy patterns or vibrations.  Everything, living or not, including our bodies and everything in them, radiates a unique energy pattern or signature.

Third fact - scientists have proved that the body constantly communicates both internally and with the outside world through the interaction of these energy patterns. Experiments have shown that protein receptors on the cell membrane pass signals to the nucleus (DNA) when stimulated by external energy signals. Until this was proven it was a widely held belief that only internal chemical and electrical signals could control cellular behaviour.

Although extremely powerful, these technologies remain on the fringe of conventional testing and unlike in Europe are not generally used by mainstream medics.
